948D - DSCSA Subscription Services

This contract is intended to cover the state’s normal requirements to provide agencies with a mechanism for DSCSA subscription services through the MMCAP Infuse cooperative purchasing agreement.

Title II of the Drug Quality and Security Act (H.R. 3204), titled the Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA) and signed into law on November 27, 2013, establishes a national system for tracing pharmaceutical products through the supply chain from manufacturer to dispenser.

The vendor is supplying a "software as a service" solution to allow MMCAP members to:

• Confirm vendors and business partners are Authorized Trading Partners under the DSCSA
• Comply with the 3T requirements for pharmaceutical dispensers of the DSCSA as they relate to the storage of and access to the data required for pharmaceuticals covered under the DSCSA, also known collectively as 3T Data:
  • Transactional Information (Tl)
  • Transactional History (TH)
  • Transactional Statement (TS)
• Confirm pedigree of received pharmaceuticals and producing reports on 3T Data as required by the DSCSA

This is a convenience contract for state agencies, departments, institutions, universities, community colleges, and non-mandatory entities including schools and local governments.
