Fast Track Grants

Fast Track Grant Submission Program (FTGSP)

The FTGSP was designed to accommodate non-profit organizations requesting smaller grants with project durations of less than 12 months. This process may also be used by non-profit organizations to request funding consideration for a one-time event.

Purpose of Grants and Relevancy

Grants will be awarded based on their relevancy to the powers and duties outlined in NC General Statute § 20-7.6. “Awarding grants-in-aid to non-profit entities to conduct education and awareness activities on organ and tissue donation and advance care planning.” The purpose of the education and awareness activities on organ and tissue donation is to increase and/or improve organ, tissue and eye donation. The purpose of education and awareness on advance care planning is to encourage thoughtful end-of-life decisions including organ and tissue donation as a significant consideration in this process of advance care planning in North Carolina.
