Prior to joining DOA, Wes Kyatt served in the Legislative Affairs Division of the North Carolina Department of Military and Veterans Affairs where he managed constituent services and legislative communications and assisted with policy development.
He has also served as the Executive Assistant to the Secretary of NC DMVA, where he worked closely with DMVA leadership to draft communications, develop policy goals and priorities, and connect North Carolina’s veterans and their families with the benefits they have earned through their service. Wes began his career in state government in 2013, serving as the Legislative Assistant for the North Carolina House Minority Leader.
Wes is a graduate of North Carolina State University, and the North Carolina Central University School of Law. He currently resides in Zebulon with his partner Chelsea and their daughter, Gracie.
