Administrative Rules Review This website contains links to North Carolina Administrative Code (NCAC) rules used by the Department of Administration. The webpage also contains a link to the North Carolina General Statutes. The Office of Administrative Hearings and NC General Assembly are responsible for maintaining the official NCAC and the official General Statutes, respectively. In addition, this webpage contains ways for the public to stay informed concerning DOA’s rule-making activities. Proposed Rules & Public Comment Pursuant to NCGS 150B-19.1 the Department of Administration will post proposed rules to Department Rules for public review and comment. Periodic Review of Existing Administrative Rules State Agencies are required to review their administrative rules in the NC Administrative Code every 10 years.
