NC CFW CARES Act Information

In September, Governor Roy Cooper signed HB1105 COVID-19 Relief Act Funding which will provide one-time emergency grants to eligible NC domestic violence centers and sexual assault programs to help meet needs due to the COVID-19 pandemic. 

Important Dates

  • October, 2020 - Award disbursements
  • November 13, 2020 - Monthly Expenditure Report Due
  • December 6th, 2020 - Monthly Expenditure Report Due (continuing the 6th of every month through January 6th, 2022)
  • January 30th, 2021 - Project Status Report Due (For programs that have closed out their grants as of Dec. 30, 2020)
  • December 1, 2021 - Final Project Status Report Due
  • December 31, 2021 - Deadline to spend CARES Act funds - DEADLINE EXTENDED
  • January 6, 2022 - Final Expenditure Report Due
