Domestic Violence Intervention Programs (DVIP)
In 2002, the NC Council for Women was granted the authority to approve the domestic violence intervention programs (DVIP) utilized by the North Carolina court system.
Domestic violence intervention programs (DVIP) re-educate offenders about their behavior and help them to develop new methods of interacting with intimate partners and family members to keep them safe.
