This contract intended to cover the State’s normal requirements for vehicle and equipment storage batteries. Types of batteries covered include automotive, heavy truck, light and heavy equipment, golf cart, and emergency lighting batteries. This contract does not include small appliance and office equipment batteries.
This is a mandatory Statewide Term Contract for state agencies, departments, institutions, universities, community colleges, and non-mandatory entities including schools and local governments.
The contract has a minimum order quantity of four (4) batteries. The contract may be used for orders less than the minimum order if the vendor elects to accept the order. In such cases the order will be shipped prepaid with the transportation charges added to the invoice as a separate line item.
