Per § 148-134. Preference for Division of Adult Correction of the Department of Public Safety products: All departments, institutions, and agencies of this State that are supported in whole or in part by the State shall give preference to Correction Enterprises products in purchasing articles, products, and commodities that these departments, institutions, and agencies require and that are manufactured or produced within the State prison system and offered for sale to them by Correction Enterprises.

This contract is intended to cover the state’s normal requirements for air filters for use in heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems.

This is a mandatory Statewide Term Contract for state agencies, departments, institutions, universities and community colleges, unless exempted by North Carolina General Statute. Additionally, non-mandatory entities, including schools and local government, that are allowed by general statute may use this contract.

This contract covers: General Repair Parts, Heavy Duty Repair Parts, Chrysler/Mopar OEM Parts, Ford/Motorcraft OEM Parts. This contract does not cover: GM/AC Delco OEM Parts, Batteries, Oils, Greases, Lubricants, and Tires.

This contract is for the purchase of steel dump bodies to be used in severe duty on/off road applications for the purposes of pushing snow, spreading salt and sand by the use of in-body spreaders, hauling rip-rap, stumps, debris, rock, sand, asphalt, etc. These factors are to be taken into consideration in the design and installation of the bodies, hydraulics, electrical systems and all components called for in this specification. The units offered shall be new, unused and a current model under standard production by the manufacturer.
