Driving Tips

Fatigued Driving. It is proven that after extended driving periods drivers will become fatigued to a point where their ability to make quick decisions is impaired. If a driver is ill this fatigue can come on quickly and be magnified. If a driver believes they are fatigued it is permissible and recommended to stop for a quick break to rejuvenate and be at the best of their ability.

There has been a decrease in the IRS mileage rate from 54 cents per mile to 53.5 cents per mile, and the medical or moving purposes rate decrease from 19 cents per mile to 17 cents per mile. July 21, 2016 - DOA Deputy Secretary Barbara Roper announced the appointment of Ron Allison to the position of Director of Motor Fleet Management.  Allison has been with MFM in various positions since the early 1990's with the most recent being his promotion to the Deputy Director of MFM in 2014.  When asked about his appointment, Allison stated "I look forward to leading Motor Fleet through our future changes and being part of this great team in DOA."
