Project Title: CVMC Electrical Infrastructure Upgrades

Scope of Work:
**This project is being re-advertised due to lack of bids**
1. Construction and installation of replacing two (2) existing 820kW diesel generator sets located inside the generator room with two (2) new skid mounted diesel generators.
2. Replacement of the 3200A paralleling switchgear with a new 5000 amp paralleling switchgear, paralleling new and existing generators and modifying generator controls and providing a Digital Master Cubicle.
3. Replace transfer switches 5, 6 and 8 with new along with providing a new transfer switch to serve two (2) of the existing elevators for the tower portion of the building.
4. Reworking the demising wall between the generator room and soiled cart holding room along a door to the Janitor’s Closet being removed.
5. Existing fuel pumps for the Boiler and Generator underground tank to be refed from an equipment branch circuit to a Life Safety branch circuit.
6. Equipment startup and testing will be required.
7. Fire Pump currently fed directly from existing transformer shall be maintained in accordance with code at all times during construction. The associated transfer switch will be temporarily backfed from existing emergency switchgear ESB3.
8. Phasing shall be such that critical and life safety loads currently fed from existing 820kW diesel generator sets to be replaced are temporarily fed from two additional 1500kW generators currently existing on the site. The capacity and building load have been confirmed as sufficient to maintain these loads.
