Scope of Work

The Department of Environmental Quality (NCDEQ), Division of Mitigation Services (DMS) is seeking the services of a licensed herbicide Contractor to perform all work necessary and incidental to the invasive vegetation management on the Moores Fork mitigation site (Site) located in Surry County. 
The VENDOR shall furnish all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, and transportation to perform all work necessary and incidental to invasive vegetation management on the Site.  Invasive treatment will occur within the designated area of the conservation easements as depicted on the Invasive Species Management figures (Attachment I). All work will be performed in accordance with the conditions, technical specifications and plans contained herein. Please veiw attached document below for more details.

Mandatory Site Visit Date:  February 13, 2020    Time: 1:00 p.m.    Contact #: Kelly Phillips (919) 723-7565 Instructions:  It shall be MANDATORY that each Vendor representative be present for a pre-bid site visit.  Attendees shall meet promptly at the time date and time shown above at the Pre-bid meeting location coordinates: 36.322366°, -80.602318°.  All attendees must sign in upon arrival and clearly indicate the prospective Vendor represented on the sign in sheet LATE ARRIVALS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO SIGN IN, NOR SHALL THEIR BID BE CONSIDERED. On-time attendance will be strictly enforced.  IT IS MANDATORY THAT ALL ATTENDEES REMAIN FOR THE ENTIRE MEETING AND SIGN OUT UPON COMPLETION OR THEIR BID SHALL NOT BE CONSIDERED. 

HUB certified vendors/contractors are encouraged to submit a bid for this project.
