Weaver Cooke Construction has been selected as the General Contractor for Elizabeth Street Apartments in Durham, NC, and is requesting firm and final pricing from Trade Contractors. The project includes construction of two new 3-story wood framed buildings containing 72 one-, two-, and three-bedroom affordable apartments units. The buildings have a brick veneer, cementitious siding exterior, and a flat TPO roof. Construction on the project is expected to begin in June 2021 with the project to be completed by August 2022. Certified payroll is required for this project.

Trades included in the scope of work are: Site Work, Retaining Walls, Fencing, Paving, Curb & Gutter, Site Concrete, Landscaping, Structural Concrete, Gypcrete, Masonry, Miscellaneous Steel, Wood Framing, Trusses, Cabinets, Countertops, Interior Trim Work, Waterproofing/Caulking, Insulation, Roofing, Siding, Doors and Hardware, Vinyl Windows, Drywall, Flooring, Paint, Bath Accessories, Wire Shelving, Mirrors, Appliances, Window Blinds, Fire Sprinklers, Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical, and Fire Alarm.

This is a NCHFA funded project and must comply with the 2020 QAP, Appendix B, Quality Design Standards.

The MWBE (Minority and Women-owned Business Enterprise) participation goal for this project is 30%. Forms WC-MBE1 and WC-MBE2 must be submitted along with your bid. For bid submission forms and detailed information on Good Faith Efforts (GFE), please see the project information URL.
