Scope of Work

The historic Mattamuskeet Lodge in Hyde County is maintained by the North Carolina Wildlife Resources
Commission and requires remedial pest control treatment for wood-destroying insects. The lodge is currently in an unfinished state and is closed to the public. Timber framing inside the lodge is currently exposed and exhibits evidence of the presence of powder post beetles. All timber on the first floor has been treated with a borate solution, this project will treat the exposed timber on the second and third floors of the building.
