Re: Lowering of United States and North Carolina Flags in Honor of the Victims of the Attack in Las Vegas, Nevada

Governor Roy Cooper has joined President Donald Trump in ordering all United States and North Carolina flags at state facilities to be lowered to half-staff today, October 2, 2017 until sunset on October 6, 2017. In memory of the victims of this tragedy, Governor Cooper made the following statement, “The shooting in Las Vegas is just horrific, senseless violence. We are praying for the victims, their families and the first responders who answered the call.
