FLAG ALERT: Honoring National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day on Friday, December 7

As we continue to honor the life of our nation's 41st U.S. President, George H.W. Bush, please also join us in the observance of National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day on Friday, December 7.  Friday marks 77 years since the attack on Pearl Harbor, Hawaii during World War II, where many American men and women lost their lives or were injured on December 7, 1941.

All United States and North Carolina flags at state facilities shall remain at half staff as we continue to pay tribute to former President George H.W. Bush. Flags will return to full-staff on December 31, 2018 at sunrise.
