What We Do

The State Property Office provides professional Real Estate Services for the State of North Carolina. The State Property Office, a centralized real estate operation, manages state property transactions on behalf of state agencies through deeds, leases, easements, licenses, eminent domain, or otherwise; it also administers the state’s unappropriated and submerged lands; and it maintains an inventory of state owned lands, buildings, and space in buildings for use by state agencies to efficiently and effectively manage their allocated properties.  The Division carries out its work with four subprograms:

  • Facilities Information Section
