Council for Women & Youth Involvement Grants

State & Federal DV/SA Program Grants

The NC Council for Women & Youth Involvement provides grants and certification to qualifying NC agencies which provide domestic violence, sexual assault, or family violence prevention and services. Grantees must report regularly on client services and expenditures. 

These grants are funded through the state Sexual Assault and Rape Crisis Center Fund, state Domestic Violence Center Fund, and federal Family Violence Prevention and Services Act respectively.

Submitting Grant Application

State Grants

The FY23-25 application period for DV & SA grants is now closed.

The process has two steps:

  1. Fill out the Grantee Supplemental Application Word form.
    • The information in this form is the meat of the application for eligibility and will be uploaded to the EBS online grant management system's Grantee Profile Section.
       
    • Please fill this form out now, to begin preparing your substantive applications.
      • Fill out a form for each program type (DV and SA) and for each county for which you are seeking a separate award.
         
  2. The Grantee Profile section in EBS must be completed.
    • This is the final step of the application process.

Completed applications (Grantee Profile with uploaded Grantee Supplemental Form(s)) have a deadline of submission through EBS by May 5, 2023.

Accessing the Grant Management System

The Council for Women & Youth Involvement utilizes the Enterprise Business Service (EBS) Grants Management System. The system allows grantees & CFWYI staff to:

  • Create and execute agreements
  • Submit actual budget and budget change requests
  • Submit expenditure and reimbursement reports
  • Approve grant payments/reimbursements
  • Monitor/track grant progress
  • Conduct research and analysis
