Re: Lowering of United States and North Carolina Flags for Memorial Day

As a sign of respect for the sacrifices of our armed services personnel, Governor Cooper has ordered all United States and North Carolina flags at state facilities be flown at half-staff on Monday, May 29 until 12 noon in honor of Memorial Day. Citizens and local governments are encouraged to display flags at half-staff as well.
