We are bidding on the above-referenced project as a prime contractor and are soliciting proposals from qualified disadvantaged, minority, female and small businesses. Bids are due to the owner at 2:00 PM on February 27, 2018. However, in order for us to prepare the bid documents for submittal by the published bid time, we ask that you submit your bid(s) no later than 11:00 AM to estimating@shookconstruction.com or fax: (866) 652-7331.
Work at Mebane Bridge WWTP includes modifications to Pump Station No. 1 to include replacement of the existing below grade RAS Pump with new above grade, self-priming, variable speed pump assemblies; Installation of submersible WAS sludge pumps in Pump Station No. 1; Installation of a new packaged, suction lift, self-priming WAS pump station for the transfer of chemical stabilized sludge from the sludge storage tank to the existing dewatering system day tank; Replacement of existing aerobic sludge digester system with a new chemical sludge stabilization system; Installation of new sludge holding tank. Owner Elective Bid includes modifications to the Pump Station No. 2 the replacement of the existing below grade RAS pumps with new above grade, self-priming, variable speed pump assemblies. The project is taxable.
