Governor Roy Cooper has joined President Donald Trump in ordering all United States and North Carolina flags at state facilities to be lowered to half-staff tomorrow, November 7, 2017 until sunset on November 9, 2017 in memory of the victims of this tragedy.

Gov. Roy Cooper today ordered all North Carolina state flags to be lowered to half-staff on Friday, November 3rd, from sunrise to Monday, November 6th at sunset, in tribute to the Department of Public Safety employee, Geoffrey Howe.
